The 2017-18 season marked the fourth for Janna Eichelberger as the Tennessee State men’s basketball Director of Operations. Eichelberger, whose duties include coordinating travel arrangements, exchanging video and other day-to-day duties, joined the TSU Men's Basketball staff in the summer of 2014.
Prior to working with the men's basketball program, she was a graduate assistant for the Tennessee State University women's basketball program for two years (2012-14).
Eichelberger arrived in Nashville after graduating from IUPUI with a bachelor's of science in Kinesiology in 2012.
As a student-athlete, Eichelberger was a member of the IUPUI women's basketball team for four years. During her sophomore and senior years, she served as the team captain. She received Academic All-Summit League accolades four consecutive years and earned a spot on the Summit League Academic Distinguished Scholar's list in 2012. She was also named to the Summit League Commissioner's List for Academic Excellence.
In 2012, she participated in the Final Four's "So You Wanna Be a Coach" program.
A native of West Columbia, S.C., Eichelberger earned a master's degree in the department of Human Performance and Sports Science from Tennessee State University in 2014.
