NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Playing two matches at Hadley Park on Saturday, the Tennessee State men’s tennis team lost to Eastern Kentucky, 7-0, before beating Fisk, 7-0, in the nightcap. TSU concludes the day with a 7-10 record, including a 0-4 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play.

"It was a tough day for the men,” TSU Head Coach Monroe Walker III. “We started off slowly in doubles. I think I’m going to have to reevaluate my doubles lineup. In singles, we just didn’t come out with the energy we needed. I have to do a better job of motivating them and getting them going. We’re right there, we just have to have a little more heart and fight. Our guys came back against Fisk and played really well in doubles and singles.”

Next up, TSU will hit the road to take on Alabama A&M on Tuesday, March 29.
