Tennessee State will step out of Ohio Valley Conference play for a trip south to take on Chattanooga on Wednesday. This marks the final game of the Tigers 11-game road trip and is a rematch of the Feb. 18 contest that saw the Mocs walk away with a 2-1 victory. TSU evened the score at 1-1 in the sixth inning on an RBI double by Katie Schneider, plating Bri Vire. The Mocs answered in the bottom of the frame with a run off Erica O'Kane, who tossed a complete game where she scattered five hits and a walk.

Tigers (3-38)

Kierra Ware led the Tigers in hitting last week going 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and a stolen base in game two at Eastern Kentucky. Katie Schneider hit her team leading ninth double as she drove in a run in the nightcap. Schneider is now one two-bagger shy of cracking the TSU single season doubles top 10 list. Sarah Snell continues to lead the offense with a .274 batting average and a .410 on base percentage. Snell's 24 walks during her sophomore campaign ranks fourth at TSU for a single season. Her walk at EKU helped her pass Kiarra Freeman from the 2014 season.
