Brinee’ Dancer joined the Tennessee State University women’s basketball staff as the director of operations in June 2017.
Dancer will handle all of the operational functions for the program as well as other duties as assigned by head coach Jessica Kern.
She comes to Tennessee State after spending last season as a Graduate Assistant coach on the women’s basketball staff at Mississippi Valley State University.
During her stint with MVSU, Dancer coordinated travel, assisted with the budget, conducted video sessions and monitored study hall. She also helped with the development of All-SWAC First Team selection Ashley Beals.
Dancer worked with Lady Eagles Sports in Dallas, Texas for nearly a year as the coordinator. She served as an advisor, coordinated travel and monitored the team.
She also spent time with the Summer Basketball Organization in Fort Worth, Texas as a DFW Elite Basketball Grassroots Assistant Coach.
A native of Duncanville, Texas, Dancer was a member of the women’s basketball team at Johnson C. Smith University for two seasons before graduating from Southern Polytechnic State University with a bachelor of science in business administration. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sport Administration.
