OVC Releases Cross Country Preseason Polls

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. --- The Ohio Valley Conference announced the 2017 cross country predicted order of finish on Thursday. Tennessee State was selected 12th in the men’s and women’s preseason polls, which were voted on the conference’s head cross country coaches.

The Tigerbelles and Flying Tigers will compete four times leading up to the OVC Championship scheduled for Oct. 28 in Charleston, Ill.

TSU will open the 2017 campaign on Sept. 2 at the Golden Eagle Invitational in Cookeville, Tenn.

Eastern Kentucky, which is the reigning champion on the men’s and women’s sides, was selected to repeat this fall.
