Tiger Tennis Drops Second Straight
Nashville, Tenn. Â– The Tennessee State University women's tennis team lost their second match of the season with falling to conference opponent, Morehead State, 7-0, at the TSU Tennis Complex. TSU moves to 0-2, 0-1 in OVC play while Morehead State now post an 8-4 record, 1-0 in OVC action.Â
The Morehead State Eagles proved to be strong picking up all single and double matches. In the highly favored match, Megan Haynes dropped her first set 6-0, before battling in the second set, falling short, 6-2 to Madeleinne Antero. Senior Dania Lofton (1-1) picked up her first loss of the year going down in two sets, 6-0, 6-0.
Next TSU will host Murray State on Thursday, March 12, with a 12 p.m. start.
