Elise Harden scored 16 of her 20 points in the second half to lead Tennessee State back into the win column on Monday evening as the Lady Tigers swept the season series over Morehead State, 77-60 at the Gentry Center.
TSU finished with three others players in double figures as
Tatyana Davis added 14 points,
Alexis Pierce had 13 points and four assists and
Saniah Parker dropped 11 points and had four steals.
Harden was a rebound shy of a double-double.
After dropping its last three games, the Lady Tigers battled back from a first-quarter deficit and led 39-33 at the half.
In the third quarter, Harden scored eight of TSU's 18 points and the Lady Tigers took a 57-42 lead into the final period.
In the final stanza, TSU increased its largest lead of the night at 22 points (77-55) after Parker nailed a 3-pointer from the elbow.
Jade Claude had 24 points to lead all scorers for Morehead State.
