OPENING TIP — Having played one game at home on Thursday, the Tennessee State women's basketball traveled seven hours on Friday to Macomb, Ill., as they will take on Western Illinois tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.

WALKING BUCKET: After posting a career-high 29 points and earning both OVC Player and Newcomer of the Week,
Sanaa' St. Andre upped her performance last night as she posted a career-high 37 points. St. Andre's 37-point game is the most by a player in the OVC this season. She finished 16-of-27 from the floor and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
PACING THE OVC: The Lady Tigers are now the leading scoring team in the OVC after recording 81 points against TTU. TSU is averaging 75.2 ppg through six games.
FIND A FRIEND: TSU finished with a season-high 20 assists last night against TTU.
The Tigers put on a passing clinic, recording an assist on 65 percent of made field goals.
Caitlin Anderson posted a season-high seven helpers while St. Andre and
Saniah Parker logged four a piece.
