NASHVILLE — Tennessee State football's 2026 Ohio Valley–Big South Alliance schedule was released Wednesday, outlining an eight-game conference slate that features four home games in Nashville and four road contests.
The Tigers will open Alliance play on Saturday, Oct. 3, with a road trip to Western Illinois. Tennessee State returns home the following week to host UT Martin on Saturday, Oct. 10, before an open date on Oct. 17.
TSU resumes play on Saturday, Oct. 24, welcoming Charleston Southern to Nashville. The Tigers then head back on the road to face Lindenwood on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The final month of the schedule includes consecutive home games, beginning with Southeast Missouri on Saturday, Nov. 7, followed by Eastern Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 14. Tennessee State will close the Alliance schedule on the road at Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Nov. 21.
The OVC–Big South Alliance continues to provide a competitive framework for FCS football, with Tennessee State facing a balanced mix of traditional rivals and league newcomers in 2026.
