NASHVILLE — Tennessee State's men's and women's tennis teams opened their fall seasons at the 2026 ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. The men competed in College Grove, Tennessee, while the women competed in Cincinnati.

The individual tournaments featured singles and doubles competition against NCAA Division I opponents from across the Ohio Valley Region.

Men's Recap

James Adler Germinal advanced to the second round of singles qualifying with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Andrew Spurck. Germinal then fell to Cagan Tufekci, 6-4, 7-6, in the second round.

In doubles, Todor Vukimanivc and Christopher Bogelin dropped an 8-3 decision in the opening round.

Women's Recap

Julie Tungamirai fell to Nicole Sifuentes, 6-1, 6-1, in singles competition.

In doubles, Victoria Cooksey and Tungamirai dropped an 8-1 decision in the opening round.
