NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee State women's tennis begins postseason competition this weekend as the Tigers travel to St. Louis, Missouri, for the 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Women's Tennis Championship, scheduled for April 17–19 at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
Tennessee State enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 seed Bryant in Friday's quarterfinal matchup.

The winner advances to Saturday's semifinal round to face the winner between top-seeded SIUE and No. 7 seed Southern Indiana.
Tigers Enter Postseason
Tennessee State brings a 1-13 overall record and a 1-4 conference mark into the OVC Championship. The Tigers earned their conference victory earlier this month with a 4-3 road win over Southern Indiana, showcasing resilience and depth across the lineup.
Throughout the spring season, Tennessee State competed against a demanding schedule that included strong regional opponents, providing valuable experience heading into postseason play.
The Tigers have continued to develop chemistry in both doubles and singles competition and look to carry late-season momentum into the championship setting.
