NASHVILLE — Tennessee State announced its 2026-27 Ohio Valley Conference women's basketball schedule Wednesday as first-year head coach Candice Dupree prepares for her inaugural conference campaign with the Lady Tigers.

OVC play begins Dec. 11 at Western Illinois before Tennessee State travels to Southern Indiana on New Year's Eve and Eastern Illinois on Jan. 2.

The Lady Tigers open conference play at the Gentry Center on Jan. 7 against Western Illinois before hosting SIUE on Jan. 9 and Morehead State on Jan. 16.

Tennessee State heads back on the road for contests at Lindenwood on Jan. 21 and Southeast Missouri on Jan. 23 before returning home to face Southern Indiana on Jan. 28 and UT Martin on Jan. 30.

February opens with Lindenwood visiting the Gentry Center on Feb. 4. The Lady Tigers then travel to Morehead State on Feb. 6 before returning to Nashville to host Eastern Illinois on Feb. 11.

Tennessee State wraps up the regular season with road games at SIUE on Feb. 17 and UT Martin on Feb. 25 before closing the conference slate at home against Southeast Missouri on Feb. 27.

The 2027 Ohio Valley Conference Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 3-6 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

The Lady Tigers enter the 2026-27 season looking to build under Dupree after finishing the 2025-26 campaign with a 5-24 overall record and a 4-15 mark in OVC play.
