WHO IS SAAC?
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is the voice of Tennessee State University (TSU) student-athletes. SAAC acts as the link between the student-athlete body and TSU's athletic administration, the OVC, and the NCAA.
WHAT DOES SAAC DO?
- Addresses concerns and suggestions
- Advocates for student-athlete well-being to enhance their experience
- Interprets NCAA regulations directly impacting student-athletes
- Creates a fun atmosphere by planning and hosting events
- Supports fellow athletes by fostering a positive student-athlete image
- Bridges the gap with the entire student body
- Promotes community and civic engagement, academic excellence, personal development, and leadership skills
