Beth Duncan brings a unique perspective to collegiate athletics, pairing decades of professional experience with a genuine passion for sports. A 1986 graduate of Tennessee Technological University, Duncan has built a career centered on people and organizational support.
She joined Tennessee State University in 2015, serving in Human Resources before transitioning to the Athletics Department in 2023. In her current role, Duncan plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring staff and student-athletes have the resources they need to succeed.
Duncan often jokes that she is “the least athletic person in Athletics,” but her enthusiasm for sports and commitment to the TSU community are unmistakable. Her ability to connect with colleagues and contribute behind the scenes makes her an invaluable member of the Tigers’ program.
Outside of work, Duncan enjoys a quiet life in Ashland City, Tennessee, where she resides with her son, Hunter, and her cat, Holly. She spends her free time traveling, cooking, and tending to her garden.
