As the Assistant AD Compliance, Latessa Hickerson is responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination and implementation of all activities and operations for Athletic events, rentals, and campus programming.

Prior to becoming the Assistant AD for Event Operations, Hickerson served as the Assistant AD for Compliance.

A native of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Hickerson received an associate degree in arts and sciences at Motlow Junior College before attending Tennessee State University. Later she graduated from Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in Human Performance and Sports Sciences and received her M.A.Ed. in Sports Administration.
As a student-athlete at Tennessee State, Hickerson helped lead the women's basketball team to two back-to-back OVC regular season and tournament titles in 1993-94 and 1994-95.Â
