Played in seven games at safety, starting five… tied for seventh with 25 tackles, 17 solos, 2.5 for loss, and two pass breakups… collected a tackle against Bethune-Cookman (9/1) and two at Eastern Illinois (9/22)… finished with four stops, 0.5 for loss, at Vanderbilt (9/29)… made half a tackle for loss, while collecting two stops at Austin Peay (10/6)… registered four tackles, 0.5 for loss, and a pass breakup at Southeast Missouri (11/3)… had four tackles against Jacksonville State (11/10)… recorded a season high in tackles (8), solos (7), tackles for loss (1) and matched in pass breakups with one against UT Martin (11/17)...Earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.25+ GPA). 

2017 - Redshirt Sophomore Season
Played in 10 games, earned a start at UT Martin (9/23) where he picked up three tackles… notched a season high tackles and three solos against Southeast Missouri (11/11)… broke up two passes and added two tackles against Virginia University Lynchburg (11/4)... Member of the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.25+ GPA). 

2016 - Redshirt Freshman Season
Played in 11 games, totaling five tackles… Tallied two tackles against UT Martin (10/1)… Had quarterback hurry and a tackle versus Jackson State (9/10)… Registered a pass breakup at Austin Peay (11/5)... Member of the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.25+ GPA). 

2015 - Freshman Season
Redshirted... Member of the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.25+ GPA). 

Roswell HS
Played wide receiver and cornerback at Roswell HS in Georgia… Led team to an 8-4 record overall and a 6-2 mark in region as a senior… Played in five games according to Maxpreps and caught15 passes for 109 yards… Scored a touchdown… Named First Team All North Fulton County 6A as a senior… Played in the 2014 Senior Chamber Bowl… Earned his team a playoff berth for the first time since 2010… Had offers from Air Force, Army, Austin Peay and Campbell… Son of Tabitha Hanes…
