OVC Freshman of the Week: Jan. 11, 2021

2022-23: Played in all 29 games with 27 starts…averaged 9.1 points per game which were third-best on the team…pulled down 4.5 boards per contest…led the team in minutes per game (33.6) and total minutes (974)….finished the season with 64 assists, 44 steals, and 20 blocks…her 27 made three-pointers were the second most on the team… tallied 263 points and 130 rebounds (42 offensive, 88 defensive) on the year…finished with a season-high 20 points and 44 minutes played against Southeast Missouri State (2/9)…had back-to-back 10+ point games to start the season…had 12 games of scoring 10+ points…finished with a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) at SEMO (1/26)...tallied six assists against Tennessee Tech (2/11)...had three games with five assists.  

2021-22: Played in 28 games with 19 starts as a freshman….finished the year with 204 points….averaged 7.3 points per game…shot 43.5 percent from the field (80-of-184)…finished the year with 97 rebounds to average 3.5 rebounds per game…tallied 65 steals and 15 blocks…tallied 48 assists and averaged 1.7 assists per contest...averaged 28.1 minutes per game to total 787 on the season....finished with a season-high 18 points against SEMO (1/8)…finished in double figures seven times.

PERSONAL: Born June 16…. Daughter of Carlos and Tanika Parker…has one brother Dee and one sister Mariah…brother Dee attended TSU.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of basketball at Mae Jemison High School….earned All-State honors….finished with 2000+ points in high school….also ran track for two years.
