Volleyball falls at SEMO

VOLLEYBALL FALLS AT SEMO

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.---The Tennessee State University volleyball team fell to host Southeast Missouri 0-3 (18-30, 25-30, 21-30) Thursday night in Houck Field House.

Tennessee State (11-11, 9-4 OVC) only managed a hitting percentage of .085 for the match while Southeast Missouri hit .283.

SEMO held advantages in kills (53-35), assists (46-32) and digs (52-46), while TSU garnered a 5.0-4.0 leading margin in blocks.

Candace Saleaumua handed out 24 assists while Collese Dornan and Christian Lowe each tallied eight kills to lead Tennessee State. Melissa Silva had a team-high nine digs.

Aubrey Dondlinger led SEMO with 14 kills and Molly Davis had a game high 15 digs.

The Lady Tigers return to action tomorrow at Eastern Illinois. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
