BOWLING GREEN, Ky.--- The Lady Tiger volleyball team fell to host Western Kentucky 3-0 (30-23, 30-17, 30-15) Friday night in the opening round of the Lady Topper Invitational. With the loss, Tennessee State University moves to 1-3 while Western Kentucky improves to 4-1. Kelly Davis led TSU with 10 kills while Candace Saleaumua chipped in 20 set assists for the match. Western Kentucky combined for 38 kills and hit .448, while limiting the Lady Tigers to just 13 kills and a .019 hitting percentage in the final two games. Tennessee State returns to action on Saturday to take on Marshall and Gardner-Webb. Game times are scheduled for 12:30 and 4:30 p.m.
