TSU falls to Murray State at Home Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State University volleyball team dropped Saturday's match to Murray State at Kean Hall.

The Tigers (8-15, 2-6 OVC) dropped straight sets to the Racers (16-4, 7-1 OVC) for their fourth straight loss in conference play. Sophomores Arijana Anderson and Neisha Crockett led the team with eight kills, a career-best for Crockett who also hit a .438 clip for the match.

Junior Madison Halterman saw her first action of the season in the front row and tallied four kills to go along with her 11 digs. Freshman setter Samantha Beltran tacked on 30 assists and five digs.

The Tigers will take to the road for their next four matches, starting with UT Martin on Tuesday. Match time is slated for 6:30 p.m.
