Louisville, Ky. --- The Tennessee State University women's basketball team dropped a, 95-56, decision to No. 3 Louisville Tuesday night in KFC Yum! Center.
TSU (1-6) played hard the entire night but the number three ranked team in the nation kept the Lady Tigers at bay. Louisville remained undefeated and improved to 12-0 on the season.
Freshman Taylor Williams scored a career-high 17 points to lead TSU while redshirt junior Tia Wooten registered 12 points and five rebounds. UofL had seven players score in double-digits.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Louisville opened the game with a 12-0 run and forced an early TSU timeout.
- Taylor Roberts scored at the 6:10 mark to get TSU on the board.
- At the end of the first period the score was, 28-12, in favor of Louisville.
- The TSU offense used a 7-0 spurt in the second period before being outscored, 29-15, in the frame. UofL led, 57-27, at the break.
- The home team outscored TSU 10-2 to begin the second half and increased the advantage to, 67-29.
- TSU continued to fight but could not overcome the deficit.
