THE LADY TIGERS AT A GLANCE
Tennessee State is looking for its first win of the season on Wednesday. The Lady Tigers' last action was against Belmont in the OVC opener. TSU fell to the Bruins and moved to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the OVC.

The TSU seniors have been the early leaders for the squad. After three games, Taylor Roberts is leading the team in scoring with 17.7 ppg while Andreana Wrister is turning in 16.3 ppg. Jaden Wrightsell is almost averaging a double-double with 10.3 ppg and 9.3 rpg.

The Lady Tigers are led by first year head coach Ty Evans.

LAST TIME OUT
Tennessee State struggled to find a rhythm against Belmont and suffered an 83-35 loss in the Curb Event Center. Taylor Roberts was averaging 21.5 ppg coming into the game and finished with 10 points while Andreana Wrister who was averaging 18.5 ppg turned in 12. Jaden Wrightsell finished the game with six points and a game-high nine rebounds. TSU shot 26.0 percent (13-of-50) from the field and 16.7 percent (3-of-18) from three-point range.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Austin Peay is 3-2 and 1-0 in the OVC with a win over Murray State. The win snapped a two-game losing streak. APSU also has wins over North Alabama and Trevecca. The Govs were picked to finish third in the Ohio Valley Conference and average 72.0 ppg.

LAST TIME THEY MET
TSU dropped an 87-55 decision to Austin Peay in the Gentry Center. TSU only trailed 21-14 after the opening quarter but after a dismal second period in which the Lady Tigers were outscored, 28-6, the game became an uphill battle. TSU nearly matched APSU point-for-point (38-35) in the second half but the deficit was too much to overcome.
