NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State athletics announced its broadcast schedule for the 2020-21 basketball season in conjunction with the Big Blue Sports Network Tuesday morning.

"The TSU Big Blue Sports Network is an exciting groundbreaking venture for our athletics department to embark on," Director of Athletics Dr. Mikki Allen said. "We are thrilled to be in a position to advance the Tennessee State Athletics brand through a customized engagement platform that will promote and highlight the championship-caliber student-athletes, coaches and staff that represent our 15 sports programs."

The basketball slate will consist of 42 contests, including this evenings men's game at Belmont, as well as TSU's games at the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

Greg Pogue, in his sixth season as the 'voice of the Tigers', will provide the call for the men's basketball games and move to analyst for the Lady Tigers'. Will Brown joins the broadcast team this season as the play by play announcer for the women's games and analysis for the men.

Adrian "AG" Granderson has been tasked with leading the TSU Big Blue Sports Network. For two decades Granderson has worked as a broadcaster in Nashville. His most notable work has come as a radio personality on 101.1 The Beat.

"For over 25 years now, my blood has flowed Tiger Blue," said Adrian 'AG' Granderson, founder and principal of Cold Soup Productions. "I'm so honored to be tapped by Dr. Allen to lead this network, and to create & curate the content that makes the university, alumni and current students as proud as I am to be a Tiger for life."

"'AG' brings a wealth of experience to the table," Dr. Allen mentioned. "Being a TSU Alum, he has a pulse of the Big Blue community and getting him to commit to lead this project is a huge win for our programs."

Coverage will begin 15 minutes prior to tipoff on tsutigers.com/listen and will conclude with a post game show with coach's interviews.

The broadcast schedule continues with the Lady Tigers at Belmont on Dec. 10 at Belmont. Game time is for 6:30 p.m. CT. The Lady Tiger will then travel to Lipscomb (Dec. 13, 2:00 p.m.) and host Belmont (Dec. 17, 5:00 p.m.).
