NASHVILLE --- Tennessee State University women's basketball senior Taylor Roberts eclipsed the 1,000^th career point milestone Thursday night during the second half against SIU Edwardsville. 
 
Roberts entered the game with 993 career points and needed seven to reach 1,000. 
 
After scoring three buckets, she connected in the paint to push her over the milestone.  
 
She scored 18 in the game and finished the contest with 1,011 career points. The Oklahoma native now ranks 19th among TSU's all-time leading scorers. 
 
Roberts, a member of the 2018 All-OVC Newcomer team, joins a list of 20 other Lady Tigers that scored at least 1,000 points during their TSU career.
