Tennessee State men's basketball kicks off its final home stand of the season Thursday, Feb. 11 versus Morehead State. Tip on ESPN+ and the Big Blue Sports Network is set for 8 p.m. in the Gentry Center.
 
A victory on Thursday would mark the 31st win for head coach Brian "Penny" Collins.
 
LAST TIME OUT
TSU dropped its final game of the four-game road swing against EIU 86-72, splitting the season series 1-1.
 
Sophomore point guard Mark Freeman had a career night, notching a career-high 28 points, 19 of which were scored in the second half comeback Big Blue attempted. Coming off a 30-point performance on Thursday, Shakem Johnson notched a career-high, and team season-high 12 rebounds.
 
LAST TIME OUT AGAINST THE EAGLES
The last time the Tigers met the Eagles, Big Blue advanced to the quarterfinals of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament after surviving an overtime matchup with a No. 8 seed Morehead State in round one in the Ford Center.
Junior Ravel Moody had a career night along with Carlos Marshall Jr. as the two led the Tigers in scoring with 14 points apiece – a career-high for Moody. Defensively, the duo combined for eight steals, two blocks.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
The Morehead State Eagles are 15-6, 10-1 on the season and are currently on an eleven-game win streak. Away from Johnson Arena, the Eagles are 5-4. The sole loss to SIUE early in the season at home.
