OPENING SERVE: Tennessee State volleyball will take on the Governors of Austin Peay in a doubleheader Sunday, Feb. 14 in the historic Kean Hall. Game one for the Tigers will begin at 11 a.m. with game two set for a 4 p.m. start.

FAN ATTENDANCE PROTOCOLS: Fans will be required to wear face coverings and temperature checks will be located at all entrances.
TSU UPDATE: After dropping both matchups at Murray State last weekend, the Tigers are looking for its first win of the 2020-21 season at home in front of its limited fan base in Kean Hall.

Despite being 0-2 overall, Gina Rivera Ortiz had a career-performance in Racer Arena summing 52 total digs, earning the Ohio Valley Conference's Co-Defensive Player of the Week Award. Along with the accolade, the junior libero tied for first in the nation in digs per set after the weekend averaging 6.50.

Offensively, senior middle blocker
Aniya Williams totaled 24 total points over eight sets with 21 kills (2.62 per set) and six blocks. In game two, sophomore right side
Kendall Bullock led the Tigers in kills with 14 and blocks with four.
ABOUT AUSTIN PEAY: In the OVC's opening weekend, APSU blanked Tennessee Tech, 3-0, in both matchups in Clarksville, Tennessee.

The Govs are second in the league in assists (13.50) and kills (14.33) led by Chloe Sitt and Brooke Moore who rank first and second in kills per set. Middle blocker Karli Graham is tied for second in blocks per set averaging 1.5 per set.
SERIES HISTORY: The Tigers are 10-47 in the all-time series against the Govs. Under Head Coach
Donika Sutton, Big Blue is 0-4 against APSU, including a 0-1 loss in the first round of the 2018 OVC Tournament.
