LAST TIME OUT AGAINST THE GOLDEN EAGLES
 A last minute push by the Tigers was not enough in the first game against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles garnered their second win of the season, 74-71.
 
Tennessee State's bigs were the highlight of the night as Yusuf Mohamed led with a career-high 14 points, Johnson matching his efforts notching his third double-digit scoring performance of the season with 14 points. Mohamed also took care of the team defensively, leading the team with eight rebounds and three steals.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
In the month of February, TTU is 1-4 with a win over Eastern Illinois just last weekend.
 
Jr. Clay leads the Golden Eagles in scoring averaging 16.4 points per game. Keishawn Davidson facilitates the offense and leads the team with 103 assists while averaging 10.6 points per game.
 
Amadou Sylla is TTU's defensive all-star leading the team in blocks and rebounds per game, averaging 5.5.
