Tennessee State men's basketball ends its home stand with Jacksonville State Saturday afternoon for senior day. Tip on ESPN+ and the Big Blue Sports Network is set for 4 p.m. in the Gentry Center.
 
The Tigers will honor seniors Shakem Johnson, Ravel Moody, Josh Linder, Donnie Malone and Samone Nelson, Jr.
 
A victory on Saturday would mark the 32nd win for head coach Brian "Penny" Collins.
 
LAST TIME OUT
A final six free throws made by sophomore Mark Freeman pushed the Tigers past the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles for a 91-86 win in the Gentry Center Thursday night. 
 
Mark Freeman led the Tigers with 22 points and a career-high 13 assists, helping five more Tennessee State players score double-figures including Monty Johal who led with a career-high 16 points on 3-for-6 three-point shooting.
 
Jr. Clay led the game with 26 points and Damaria Franklin with 23, scoring more than 50 percent of the Golden Eagle's points.

A minute left in regulation and the Tigers are up by four. Shakem Johnson notched his third foul to send Darian Adams to the line for two, he makes one. Thirty-four seconds. With time for just one play, Freeman dribbles to half court, dishes to Marcus Fitzgerald, Jr. on the wing. The buzzer sounds with the ball still in his hands. Jacksonville State defeats the Tigers on the road, 65-64.
