- Down six, 20-14, JSU went on a 5-1 run to end set one, 25-15.
Â
SET TWO
- JSU held a 6-5 lead over the Tigers before errors at the net pushed the Gamecocks over the scoring battle hump and into cruise control, headed towards a set two victory.
- An Aria Holmes and Mion Weldon block ended a small run that JSU answered with its own six-point offensive effort.
- Down 24-15, the Tigers pushed for three-straight points before a service error closed set two, 25-18.
Â
SET THREE
- Alondrah Santana Rodriquez and Kendall Bullock put down three balls a piece to help the Tigers on the way to a 15-10, five point deficit.
- Late in the match Aria Holmes and Kendall Bullock laid JSU's defenders across the court as the two registered kill after kill helping TSU stay in the fight, 22-16.
- Forced to move the ball around, JSU distributed the ball to every attacker across the net until match point – executed by Courtney Glotzback.
