MOREHEAD, Ky. --- Mark Freeman led the Tigers with his first 30-point performance, the third of any Tiger this season, Thursday night in the 74-60 loss to Morehead State.

Shakem Johnson registered his second double-double of the season with 11 points, 10 rebounds, assisting Freeman in the push for TSU's hunt for its first road victory.
Josh Linder also contributed defensively, grabbing eight boards.

Big Blue will end its season Saturday in Richmond, Kentucky taking on the EKU Colonels. Â

- Off to a hot start, the Tigers went up 4-1 on the Eagles before a six-minute scoring lull has left Big Blue down by ten.
- Mark Freeman hit Shakwon Barrett in the corner for a three-point bucket.
- For the next 10 minutes of action, Freeman notched 16 points to lead the Tigers at the half. Big Blue went into the break down, 35-27.
- At first media timeout, TSU had outscored the Eagles, 12-9.
- With two minute gaps in between made field goals, Â trips to the charity stripe helped the Tigers decrease the scoring deficit to single-digits until Johnson went for back-to-back buckets in the paint.
- MSU closed the night on a 12-4 run, punctuated by a Samone Nelson three pointer – the first field goal of his collegiate career.Â
