OPENING SERVE: The Tennessee State volleyball team heads to Charleston, Illinois to take on the Eastern Illinois Panthers. First serve on Sunday and Monday are set for 3 p.m.  
 
Matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
FAN ATTENDANCE PROTOCOLS: Fans will not be allowed to attend games in Lantz Arena.

TSU UPDATE: Big Blue went 0-2 at Morehead State last weekend, going 3-1 on day one and 3-0 on day two. Aniya Williams and Aria Holmes led the offensive front on day one, with Kennedi Moore notching five kills on a low scoring day two.
 
Day one saw 10 team blocks for the Tigers, led by Holmes with six.
 
Kristian Marshall notched a double-double on day one, 14 assists and 13 digs.  

ABOUT EASTERN ILLINOIS: The Panthers are 0-8 after four weeks of OVC action, falling to Morehead State, Tennessee Techa and Austin Peay. The team has four won sets across the eight matches.
 
Laurel Bailey and Kyle Michael lead EIU in kills. Bailey Chandler has summed 239 assists, averaging 8.54 assists per set. Ireland Hieb leads with seven aces at the service line with Ashley Sharkus and Christina Martinez Mundo helping the defense with 128 digs between the two specialists.

SERIES HISTORY: TSU is 12-25 in the all-time series against EIU. Last season, the Tigers defeated the Panters 3-1 (25-16, 25-20, 16-25, 25-11 in Charleston. Under head coach Donika Sutton, the Tigers are 2-1 against Eastern Illinois.

UP NEXT: The Tigers return home to host Tennessee Tech March 14-15. First serve on Sunday is set for 6 p.m. First serve on Monday is set for 5 p.m. on ESPN+.
