Box Score CHARLESTON, Ill. --- Tennessee State garnered its first victory of the season 3-2 (18-25, 25-16, 21-25, 25-15, 15-9) over the Eastern Illinois Panthers in Lantz Arena Sunday, March 7.
 
Kendall Bullock notched 16 kills, eight digs, three blocks and a service ace, leading the Tigers offensively. Kristian Marshall and Sofia Garcia Guerrios combined for 32 assists in the 6-2 offense the Tigers run. Gina Rivera Ortiz registered a team-high 24 digs.
 
The Tigers had a slow start, only notching eight kills in set one. Unsettled, Big Blue's energy sparked a push for a win
