OPENING TIP: The final nonconference D1 opponent finds a rematch from last season before the Christmas Break as Charleston Southern visits Nashville to meet Tennessee State on Wednesday.  

WHERE TO WATCH & LISTEN: TSU expanded its partnership with Cromwell Media, naming 102.1 FM The Ville as the flagship TSU men's basketball station. "The Voice of the Tigers" Greg Pogue returns for his 11th season behind the mic and will be reunited with his longtime partner Albert Dawson. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the contest not the actual tip time in doubleheader situations. The action can also be heard on the TSU Tigers app.

CHARLESTON SOUTHERN SERIES INFORMATION: Wednesday is the second all-time meeting between TSU and Charleston Southern. Last season, TSU defeated the Bucs 78-75 on the road. Dedric Boyd has 26 points on 6-of-13 from the outside with eight rebounds and two steals. Former Tiger Kassim Nicholson added 15 points as did Marcus Fitzgerald Jr. 

SCOUTING CHARLESTON SOUTHERN: The Buccaneers are sitting on a four-game losing streak entering Wednesday's contest. Claudell Harris Jr. has reached double digits in seven of eight games with 16.9 points per game. Taje' Kelly is second in team scoring at 11.3 points per game.

LIPSCOMB LIGHTNING: After leading by as many as 16 midway through the first half, TSU fell into a 15-point rut before a ferocious comeback in the second half. TSU finished the game on a 17-7 run after tying the contest 73-all with 4:33 left to play.

CLAY'S LIPS: Jr Clay finished with 19 points on 8-of-14 points in 32 minutes against Lipscomb with five assists and four rebounds with three steals on Sunday. The graduate has reached double figures in four straight and all but one game this season (High Point).

M1F: Marcus Fitzgerald Jr. Added 18 points in the win over Lipscomb shooting 6-of-10 from the field with a pair of rebounds and assists in 33 minutes.

DOWNTOWN BROWN: Christian Brown had 16 points on 5-of-9 from the field and hit a pair from downtown. Brown has connected on 10-of-18 from three-point land this season for 55.6 percent.
