OPENING TIP: The final game of a five-game road swing has Tennessee State driving up I-24 to face former OVC member, Austin Peay, on Saturday afternoon. TSU is 1-3 in its last four games but will get a much-needed road rest in December with seven straight games at the Gentry Center including the first two OVC matchups after Christmas.
WHERE TO WATCH & LISTEN: TSU expanded its partnership with Cromwell Media naming 102.1 FM The Ville as the flagship station for TSU men's basketball. "The Voice of the Tigers" Greg Pogue returns for his 11th season behind the mic and will be reunited with his longtime partner Albert Dawson. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the contest not the actual tip time in doubleheader situations. The action can also be heard on the TSU Tigers app.
AUSTIN PEAY SERIES INFORMATION: Austin Peay leads the all-time series with a 51-32 mark. The Govs have won 32 of 40 games in Clarksville including the last four home matchups.
SCOUTING AUSTIN PEAY: The Govs are led this year by Elijah Hutchins-Everett with 12.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest. Shon Robinson leads the team with 15.3 points but has missed the last four games. Austin Peay has wins this season over Milligan, South Florida and Albany. The Govs have dropped the last three games to Bucknell, Howard and Western Kentucky. This is the first year AP is competing in the Atlantic Sun after leaving the OVC.
