COLUMBUS, OH --The Tennessee State volleyball team could not out-play a potent Ohio State offense Friday on the road losing to Texas Region's third seeded Buckeyes in straight sets (10-25, 14-25, 15-25). The loss in the Texas Regional closed TSU's to a 19-16 record. Aleksandra Rojecka finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Tiger attack. How It Happened
SET 1 | The Tigers found themselves in an early hole, dropping a tough first set 25-10. Tennessee State trailed by as many as 15 points as Ohio State never surrendered the lead in a set that was notted up zero times before the Buckeyes took control.
SET 2 | A 25-14 set-two loss put Tennessee State behind 2-0 in the match. TSU fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | TSU couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Tigers opened the set going up 4-1 then 6-3. Ohio State then went on an 11-1 to take the lead for good. Tennessee State trailed by as many as 10 points as Ohio State grabbed the advantage for good at 7-6 in a set that was tied up two times before the Buckeyes took over the lead.
