NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's tennis team fell to Lipscomb on Saturday afternoon, 1-6.
 
Pierre Copin (Compiegne, France) secured a point for TSU on Court #3 with a 3-6, 7-5, 7-5 result over Luka Stojanovic. It was the first victory of the year for the French competitor. Additionally, it was the first three-set match for the junior.
 
On Court #1, 
Nil Moinet (Les Abymes, Guadeloupe) battled throughout the match against Maksim Bogdanovich, 3-6, 6-2, 2-6. The junior from the West Indies has won the second set in consecutive matches.
 
Lipscomb obtained the doubles point with 6-1 victories on Courts #2 and #3, while the pairing of 
Moinet and 
Daniel Perez-Caraballo did not complete on Court #1.
 
UP NEXT: Tennessee State will travel across town to face off against Vanderbilt on Feb. 18 and Feb. 20 at the Currey Tennis Center.
