The Buccaneers secured the doubles point with victories on court one and two as the Tigers forfeited the third court with only five players on the roster.
Naomi Von Bose fought on court two, 2-6, 1-6 against Beatriz Costa.
Mckhia McCrary fell on court five, 2-6, 0-6, to Gabriela Marin.
Tennessee State's match on Saturday against Western Kentucky has been postponed to a future date – to be determined.
