EVANSVILLE, Ind. — After going 1-2 this past weekend at the Pam Littleton Classic in Texas, the Tennessee State volleyball team will travel to Indiana to take on Evansville on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Last season, the Aces defeated the TSU 3-0.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
- Tiger newcomer, Johanna Alcantara, continued her dominant start to the season, with 40 kills in the three games this past weekend. She had a season-high 21 in the four-set loss to SE Louisiana. She leads the teams with 63 kills on the season.
- In the victory over Prairie View, newcomers, Kennedy Davis (4) Alondrah Santana-Rodriguez (3) and Gabrielle Johnson (3) combined for 10 blocks. The strong play at the net helped to force 25 attack errors by Prairie View.
- Login Williams enjoyed her best game as a Tiger with 34 assists against SE Louisiana.
- Carla Boudal pitched in with a steady weekend. On defense, she was credited with 31 combined digs in the three matches.
SCOUTING Evansville
- This past weekend, the Aces traveled to Cookville, Tennessee to play in the Golden Eagle Invitational. They lost all three matches including a 1-3 loss to the Tigers' OVC foe Tennessee Tech.
- The Aces earned their highest-ever preseason coaches' poll ranking since joining the Missouri Valley Conference in 1994. UE was chosen to finish second.
- Alondra Vazquez and Melanie Feliciano both received MVC Preseason All-Conference Team recognition.
- Giulia Cardona became the first player in program history to earn one of the MVC specialty awards when she was named the 2021 MVC Freshman of the Year.

- The Tigers will finish their seven-game road trip with a trip to Berkley, California with three matches in the Cal Tournament. First match is Friday at noon CST against Nevada.
