(MEMPHIS TN) – Friday, February 3rd tickets to the 34th Southern Heritage Classic will be on sale. The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions will take on the Tennessee State University Tigers at the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium on Saturday, September 9th at 6 p.m. for the first time during this highly anticipated annual cultural celebration. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.
Classic Founder Fred Jones is excited about the upcoming game. "The Classic has a strong legacy and this year, we're writing a new chapter and making new memories. During the AutoZone Halftime Show, the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South (M4) will battle the Tennessee State Aristocrat of Bands for bragging rights. After the game, the bands will face off again during the Classic 5th Quarter. It's a friendly competition like no other with HBCU football, music, and family fun.
