SOUTHERN INDIANA SERIES INFORMATION: Saturday's contest will be the fifth all-time meeting between TSU and Southern Indiana. USI leads the series 3-2 after falling to TSU in its first contest as a member of the OVC. Prior to that, these two teams met between 1976 and 1979. USI won the last three meetings in the 1970s (1978-78: 73-72 (ot); 1977-78: 57-56; 1976-77: 92-66), but lost the series opener to TSU (112-52) in the 1975-76 season.

SCOUTING SOUTHERN INDIANA: Since the last meeting with TSU on Feb. 2, Southern Indiana has dropped four of its last six game including a three-point deficit to Tennessee Tech 82-79 on Thursday. Isaiah Swope leads the Screaming Eagles in scoring 15.3 points and assists (3.5) per game. Swope has  scored 20 or more points in the last three games hitting 21 vs. Little Rock, 27 vs. SEMO and 26 vs. Tennessee Tech.  Jelani Simmons is second in scoring (13.7) and Jacob Polakovich is third (12.8) but leads the team and OVC in rebounds (12.7).

LAST TIME OUT VS. USI: Jr. Clay had a team-high 23 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes to lead TSU over Southern Indiana 80-76 at Screaming Eagles Arena on Feb. 3. Dedric Boyd had 19 points and hit 5-of-6 from the outside while Marcus Fitzgerald Jr. added 17 points in 34 minutes. Zool Kueth and Adong Makuoi had 11 and 10 points, respectively. Isaiah Swope led USI with 24 points and six assists. TSU held Jacob Polakovich to seven points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes.

30 DOWN: Four members of the TSU roster have seen action in all 30 games this season — Adong Makuoi, Zool Kueth, Justin Williams and David Acosta.

FITZGERALD MAGIC: Marcus Fitzgerald Jr. finished with 15 points, knocked down three triples, pulled down five rebounds and had three assists in the win over UT Martin.

DOUBLE DIGIT TRIPS: TSU is 12-2 this season when hitting 10 or more 3-pointers and 7-1 when knocking down 11 or more.
