MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tennessee State men's tennis team took on the No. 42 ranked Memphis Tigers on Sunday afternoon and lost 0-7. The loss moves TSU to 2-9.
Despite the loss, TSU had a strong showing in both doubles play and singles play. In doubles action,

Nicholas Adamec both go three points on the board as they fell 6-3, with Memphis taking the early 1-0 lead.
Three different TSU players went three sets, highlighted by Dziopak who fell 2-6, 6-4, 3-6 at line one to the No. 35 singles player in the country. Hibbert dropped his three-set match at the No. 4 spot by a score of 6-4, 1-6, 2-6. Britt-Alvarez dropped his match at line six 6-4, 1-6, 2-6.
The Tigers will be back in action on March 12 as they will take on Xavier. The match will be played at UT Knoxville.
