EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Tennessee State men's tennis team picked up their first Horizon League win of the season on Sunday afternoon as they blanked Southern Indiana 7-0. The win moves TSU to 5-12 (1-2 Horizon).
The Tigers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point to start the match. The doubles duo of

Daniel Caraballo won 6-4 at line one, while
Nil Moinet /
Pierre Copin claimed a 6-1 victory at line two.
TSU continued its dominating play into the singles portion of the match, picking up wins at all six lines. Moinet picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at line one, followed by
Jonasz Dziopak who claimed a 1-6, 6-4, 6-0 win at line two.
Caraballo earned a 7-6, 6-3 victory in the No. 3 position. Hibbert played well in the No. 4 slot, winning 6-2, 6-2. Despite going three sets, Copin was able to pick up a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 win at line five.
Nicholas Adamec rounded out TSU's lineup with a 6-3, 6-3 win in the No. 6 position.
The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they are set to host Lindenwood at 11:00 a.m. at Hadley Park.
