NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State women's tennis season ended on Saturday morning, as the Tigers fell 4-0 to Southeast Missouri in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Semifinals.
 
TSU finishes its spring season at 5-20 (2-3 OVC).
 
The Redhawks jumped out to an early 1-0 lead as they quickly took the doubles point, winning at lines two and three. Franka Sindicic / Jovana Nikolic fell 6-1 at line two, while Daniela Koleva / Aroa Arrieta Castillo dropped their match 6-0.
 
SEMO needed just three wins to in singles play to claim the 4-0 win. Shikanova downed Koleva at line three 6-4, 6-2, while Sindicic dropped her match 6-1, 6-0 at line four to Lai. Calinescu was victorious over Castillo 6-2, 6-1 at line five.
 
The team closes out its season with its best finish in the OVC.
