CHARLESTON, ILL. – Tennessee State men's tennis team picked up their fourth straight Horizon League win Saturday afternoon as they defeated Eastern Illinois 7-0 to earn the sweep. The win moves TSU to 8-12 (4-2 Horizon).
TSU jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after picking up two wins in the doubles portion of play. The freshman duo of

Jonasz Dziopak earned a 6-2 victory at line three, while
Nil Moinet /
Pierre Copin laid claim to a 6-4 win at line two.
The Tigers had a great day in the singles portion of the match as they won in two sets at all six lines.
Taj Hibbert picked up the first Tiger point with a 6-3, 6-2 win at line four, followed by a 6-1, 6-3 win from Moinet in the three spot.
Diego Britt-Alvarez earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at line five to give TSU a 4-0 lead.
Jonasz Dziopak conited his hot streak in the No. 1 singles, as he earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Copin won 6-2, 6-4 at line six, while
Daniel Caraballo closed out the match with a 6-3, 7-5 win at line two to give TSU its seventh point.
The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow as they are set to take on Lindenwood at 11:00 a.m.
