NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State football program proudly announces that 11 players and one coach have been named to the Ohio Valley Conference's 75th Anniversary Team, which was released earlier this week. The team selection is part of the league's commemoration of its storied accomplishments, recognizing the top athletes in its history across all OVC sports.
The TSU players who made the Anniversary Team are:
- Bennie Anderson (G), 1996-99
- Charles Anthony (RB), 2001-04
- Anthony Bass (LB), 2011-14
- Rico Council (DB), 2007-11
- Kadeem Edwards (OL), 2009-13
- Randy Fuller (DB), 1990-93
- Michael German (QB), 2010-14
- Anthony Pleasant (DL), 1987-89
- Dominique Rogers-Cromartie (DB), 2004-07
- Chris Rowland (WR/RS), 2016-19
- Javarris Williams (RB), 2005-08
One notable coach who made the team is L.C. Cole (HC), 1996-99.
