Men's Basketball Ready for Road Matchup at Western Illinois

OPENING TIP: The Tennessee State men's basketball will look to keep its two-game OVC win streak rolling as they are set to face Western Illinois tomorrow afternoon on the road. The Tigers are coming off a home Thursday win while the Bulldogs have not played in a week.

SERIES INFORMATION: Saturday will be the 5th matchup between TSU and WIU. The Tigers lead the series 3-1. This will be the first meeting since the 1958-59 season.  

TTU NOTES & NUMBERS:
 
76.67: The number of points that TSU is averaging through six games in OVC play, which ranks second in the league. The Tigers posted 85 points last night as they defeated TTU by 32 points.
 
57.1: The percentage that the Tigers finished with shooting the ball behind the arc against TTU. TSU was 12-of-21 from three, with 12 being the second most made threes in a game behind 13 against Boyce. Jaylen Jones connected on four long balls while E.J. Bellinger hit three.
 
MR. EFFICIENT: Transfer guard Kinyon Hodges did a little bit of everything in the Tigers' win over TTU and had no turnovers in the process. Hodges played 30 minutes, scored 10 points, grabbed nine boards, and tallied six assists. He was almost perfect from the floor as he finished 5-of-6.
