Men's Basketball Set to Close Out Two-Game Road Swing at Morehead

OPENING TIP: The Tennessee State men's basketball team will look to salvage its two-game OVC road trip on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers will take on Morehead State before returning to Nashville.

SERIES INFORMATION: Saturday will be the 85th contest between the Tigers and the Eagles. MSU leads the all-time series that dates to 1980 46-38. TSU has dropped the past six matchups to MSU, last earning a victory in the 19-20 season in the OVC tournament.  

UTM NOTES & NUMBERS:
 
30: The number of steals that Kinyon Hodges has this season. Hodges became the first member of the OVC to hit 30 steals this year after logging two swipes against USI.

LEADING THE PACK: E.J. Bellinger became the first Tiger to surpass the 200-point threshold this year after finishing with a team-high 16 points on Thursday. The Belmont transfer has 202 points this season and is second on the team with 12.6 ppg. In addition, the Missouri native leads the team in rebounds (97) and will look to become the first TSU player to reach 100 boards this season with three more.
 
PRESSED INTO ACTION: Justin Williams saw an uptick in playing time on Thursday night at USI and made the most of his 22 minutes on the court. Playing 20+ minutes for the second time this season, the California native logged a season-high 13 points as he finished 4-of-6 from the floor.
