NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's tennis team took on Chattanooga on Sunday afternoon and fell 5-2 on the road.
Despite the loss, the Tigers started out strong in double plays, which would carry over to singles.

Rohan Loubser fell 6-3 at No. 3, while

Nil Moinet dropped their match 7-6 in the No. 2 spot to give the Mocs the doubles point.
TSU would pick up two points in the singles portion of play, starting with
Jonasz Dziopak's 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1.
Nil Moinet won by retirement after winning his first set 6-4.
Loubser fell in a close 7-6, 5-7, 3-6 match at No. 4, while Britt-Alvarez would also split sets at No. 3, falling 6-4, 5-7, 3-6.
The Tigers will be back in action on February 19 as they will take on Bellarmine in Huntsville, Ala.
