NASHVILLE - The Tennessee State volleyball team continues Ohio Valley Conference play on the road as they travel to Morehead, Kentucky, to take on the Morehead State Eagles on Tuesday evening. First serve is set for 6 p.m. inside Johnson Arena.
The Tigers (1-21, 0-9 OVC) look to bounce back after falling to Lindenwood over the weekend at Kean Hall. Freshman Melae Lacy led the offensive charge in Saturday's matchup with seven kills on a .294 hitting clip, while senior setter Sagaia Reilly tallied 12 assists and a pair of service aces. Defensively, freshman libero Eirini Bitsaktsi paced TSU with eight digs.
TSU continues to find production from its young core, as freshmen Aliyah Harris and Carsyn Stansberry have provided consistent energy on both sides of the net. Senior Maygan Miller-Garcia remains a veteran presence at the middle, anchoring the front line with 104 kills and 39 blocks this season.
Morehead State (8-12, 4-5 OVC) enters the match coming off a weekend split against Southern Indiana. The Eagles lead the all-time series 31-6 and swept both meetings last season.
