LITTLE ROCK, AR --The Tennessee State volleyball team could not beat a potent Trojans offense Friday on the road losing to Little Rock in straight sets (15-25, 17-25, 16-25).
The loss dropped Tennessee State's record to 1-15 overall and 0-4 in OVC action.
Aliyah Harris finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Lady Tigers offense. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Erini Bitsaktsi had 14 and Sagaia Reilly had 10. From the front row, Maygan Miller-Garcia contributed five blocks.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Tennessee State volleyball opened the road portion of its Ohio Valley Conference slate on Friday night, battling through three competitive sets before falling to Little Rock (15-25, 17-25, 16-25).
The Tigers (1-15, 0-4 OVC) showed stretches of momentum on both sides of the net, highlighted by balanced production across the offense and a strong defensive back row.
Junior outside hitter Aliyah Harris paced TSU with eight kills, while Eirini Bitsaktsi led the defense with 14 digs and Sagaia Reilly chipped in 10. At the net, Maygan Miller-Garcia added five blocks to slow the Trojans' attack. Reilly also directed the offense with 17 assists.

How It Happened
Set 1 – Tennessee State fought early before the Trojans created separation midway through to take the opener 25-15.
Set 2 – The Tigers battled in another tight frame with five ties, staying within striking distance before Little Rock pulled away late for a 25-17 decision.
Set 3 – TSU continued to compete point-for-point, tying the score eight times, including at 13-all. The Trojans responded with a run to close out the set 25-16 and the match.
